Newly created families will be able to purchase housing on favorable terms

Since July 1, the subsidiary organization of "Baiterek" Holding JSC "Housing Construction Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" has launched a new housing program for young families - "Zhas Obasy", which will allow them to purchase their own apartment on the most favorable terms.

The loan rate under the new program is only 1% higher than the rate for the most popular "Nurly Zher" program - 6% per annum. Moreover, such a rate is valid only for the first two years, and then it is reduced to 5%.

To participate in the program, one or both spouses must open a deposit in the Housing Construction Savings Bank with the sign "Zhas Otbasy", accumulate 50% of the cost of future housing during the year and reach the estimated value of "5". At the time of opening the deposit, the spouses must be registered in the marriage for no more than 3 years (according to the certificate of marriage).

During the accumulation period, the bank’s interest is charged at a rate of 2% per annum and an annual state bonus of 20% (for an amount not exceeding 200 MCI). You can also open accounts for both spouses, then combine them into a "Family Package" and receive a double state bonus.

Another advantage of "Zhas Otbasy" is that the program does not have any restrictions on the age of the spouses and the number of children in the family.

Under the terms of "Zhas Otbasy", newlyweds can buy an apartment in both the primary and secondary markets, or buy land and build a house. Under this program, participants are given loans for a period of 6 to 9 years.

On average, over 152 thousand marriages are made in Kazakhstan annually, and according to statistics, the lack of separate housing is one of the reasons for divorces. Spouses under 29 years of age who have been married for at least 2 years could receive rental housing with subsequent redemption without down payment. In 2017, they also provided housing for young families in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Also, at the beginning of January 2019, only in Almaty they accepted documents for the distribution of 40 apartments under this program in the Algabas and Sayaly districts of the Alatau District. However, this was clearly not enough to solve the problem. The Zhas Otbasy program will operate continuously throughout the republic, its conditions are very loyal and accessible to almost everyone.
