The state program of industrial and innovative development is one of the most ambitious projects in the years of independence of our country. It is designed to form and strengthen the Kazakh industry. Today its share in the country's GDP is 27%. More than one million of our citizens are employed in this industry.
At the moment, the third five-year plan of this program is being implemented. It is planned that by 2025 labor productivity in the manufacturing industry will grow by one and a half times, and the volume of exports will almost double compared to 2018. It is expected that investments in this industry will also increase by half.
Of course, the national managing holding Baiterek is at the forefront of this work. We provide financial incentives for non-resource sectors of the economy and work through our subsidiaries. What results have been achieved during the implementation of the second five-year industrial program are shown in the infographics specially prepared by us.
