On Friday, October 22, the Minister of Digitalization and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bagdat Musin held a meeting with the management of the Baiterek holding group of companies on the development of the export of IT services.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board of the Holding Aidar Arifkhanov, Managing Director of the Holding Ulan Oraztaev, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Entrepreneurship Development Fund" Damu "Gaukhar Buribayeva, as well as Deputy Chairmen of the Board of JSC" ESC "KazakhExport" - Kuanysh Mukazhanov, JSC "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" - Duman Aubakirov and Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC - Altai Kuzdibaev.
- Support tools of the Baiterek holding are also available for domestic enterprises in the IT industry. We support them. The Damu Foundation is doing a lot of work here. We also attract IT companies to implement our own projects of the Holding, - said Aidar Arifkhanov.
In turn, Gaukhar Buribayeva, as an example, spoke about two projects involved in the development of mobile services and software. KazInfoTech ADC LLP develops and implements its own programs in the mobile services market in Kazakhstan, and Antis-Med LLP creates programs for polyclinics, hospitals and private medical organizations. Both of these companies received support in the form of guarantees from the Damu Fund in the amount of 50 and 85 percent of the loan amount, respectively.
- We continue to work to support Kazakhstani IT companies. In order to increase the coverage of measures of state support for the IT industry, the Damu Fund, together with the ministry, will develop new products, - explained Gaukhar Buribayeva.
In addition, at the meeting, the main insurance financial instruments KazakhExport were presented, which can be used by Kazakhstani producers of non-primary goods and service providers, including IT, for safe access to foreign markets.
Kuanysh Mukazhanov noted that since the beginning of this year, KazakhExport has supported 66 domestic exporting enterprises for a total of 101.7 billion tenge, 22 Kazakh enterprises have used the services for the first time.
During the meeting, DBK presented financial instruments for investment projects, export operations, export financing of foreign partners and banks, including under insurance coverage of the sister company KazakhExport.
In conclusion, the participants discussed the development and implementation of criteria for innovation and digitalization in investment projects of subsidiaries of the Baiterek holding.
