The Baiterek holding has released a collection of essays by its employees in electronic format on the topic: "The state language: today and in the future", dedicated to the Day of languages of the people of Kazakhstan.
The collection was prepared by the Department of Operations, where 10 employees of the Holding shared their views on the development of the state language.
- Today, most of the employees of the Baiterek Holding are trilingual. In addition to the state and Russian languages, they are fluent in English. Among us are employees who are fluent in Chinese. In the corporate culture and document flow, the priority role is given to the state language. At the same time, we actively support the state policy of multilingualism. In the Holding, we conduct language courses for our employees, - noted the head of the holding's administration Dina Akrachkova.
The Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 20, 1998. According to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2017, the holiday is celebrated on September 5, on the birthday of the Kazakh public figure, one of the founders of Kazakh linguistics and literary criticism, scientist and literary critic Akhmet Baitursynov.
The Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan is a holiday for every citizen of Kazakhstan, representing a united friendly family of more than 100 ethnic groups.
