“Baiterek” National Managing Holding JSC has supported the national environmental challenge of #Birge #TazaQazaqstan.
250 employees of the Holding and its subsidiaries have united with residents and guests of the capital and responded to the call of the city’s governor Altai Kulginov, who took the baton over from the campaign initiator, the Minister of Environment, Geology and Natural Resources, Magzum Mirzagaliyev.
Volunteers have cleaned the banks of Yessil and Karassu rivers along the bypass road that goes from the airport towards Karaganda Highway. The friendly team of Baiterek Holding, headed by the Holding’s Chairman of the Board, Aidar Arifkhanov, was carrying out works along the river near Talapker Village.
- My colleagues and I are concerned about ecology and environment. We do not want to stay aside when speaking about making the lands that all of us live on cleaner. Caring for environment is our shared commitment. Therefore, Baiterek Holding was delighted to support “Birge – Taza Qazaqstan!” environmental challenge, - Aidar Arifkhanov highlighted.
It is worth recalling that the environmental clean-up campaign is being held in all the regions of Kazakhstan. Over 10 tons of garbage has been collected during the first campaign held in the territory of Koyandy Water Storage Basin. It involved participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askar Mamin, and Cabinet ministers.
It should be noted that the environmental campaign has been also supported by the Head of State, Qassym-Zhomart Toqayev.
“I am strongly supporting the environmental challenge movement that has covered the whole country under the initiative of the Government and civil society. Let us transform the country into a territory of cleanliness. Bіrge - Taza Qazaqstan! Well done, volunteers!”, - Qasym-Zhomart Toqayev wrote on his Twitter account.
